• International masters and adaptive masters weightlifting competition

  • One competition platform

  • 6 warm up platforms, powered by BosRubber, all provided with colored plates and technique plates

• Two competition days. If we reach a low amount of entries the competition is held on one competition day (Saturday 21th October).

• Age categories:

  •  30-34 years (pre-masters)

  •   35 years and older

• Medals Gold/Silver/Bronze in each agegroup and bodyweight category.

• Grand Master Women and Men award based on Sinclair-Melzer-(Huebner)-Faber.

• Free entrance for public; free parking

We are following the IMWA rules voted in at the congress of the World Masters Championships 2023:

BODYWEIGHT CHANGES

​

Athletes cannot move to a higher or lower body weight category at the time of the weigh-in.
The final time to submit a change of body weight is at the Verification Meeting held one week before the start of the championship. An athlete who wants to move to one higer or one lower bodyweight category needs to send an email to info@northwestweightlifting.com before 14th October 2023.

WEIGH IN OUTFIT

We follow the "old" weigh in rule: "weigh-in is in undergarment or naked".
